Engaging Young People and Youth Workers to develop their Cultural Intelligence for Diverse Online Communities

The Cultural Bridges project aims to equip Gen Z with cultural intelligence (CQ) through tailored educational initiatives while providing youth workers with the knowledge and tools to mentor young people in promoting cultural tolerance. The project will empower Gen Z to use their online presence as a platform for advocacy, extend cultural tolerance discussions beyond national borders, and inspire young people to take tangible action within their communities.

Generation SDG

Deciphering the SDGs for the Everyday Lives of Youth

The Generation SDG project aims to increase awareness and understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among young people while fostering youth advocacy, active citizenship, and social responsibility. By promoting climate action and environmental stewardship, the project will empower young advocates to take leadership roles in youth-led, community-based initiatives. Through targeted educational activities and engagement strategies, Generation SDG will equip young people with the knowledge and motivation to drive meaningful change in their communities, ensuring a lasting impact on SDG-related projects.

RISE & SHINE

Empowering front-line youth workers to manage their well- being, enhancing their ability to address youth mental health

Rise & Shine aims to support youth worker well-being, by providing comprehensive mental health and well-being resources, as well as building their resilience and coping skills to effectively address the challenges and stressors they encounter in their role. Partners will also support youth workers to integrate new well-being and resilience resources into their youth work practice. We will further aim to empower youth workers to advocate for policies and initiatives that support their well-being.

BUILDING BLOCKS

Supporting School Communities to Develop the Building Blocks of Well-being

The Building Blocks project aims to promote Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in primary and secondary schools by equipping teachers with play therapy techniques, providing parents with practical SEL strategies, and developing an evidence-based, age-appropriate SEL curriculum. By fostering a whole-school approach, the project will ensure SEL is embedded in both classroom and home environments, supporting students’ emotional development and well-being.

RURAL IMPACT

Harnessing the Potential of Social Entrepreneurship for Rural Economies

The Rural Impact project aims to equip rurally based young VET learners with the skills and knowledge needed to become successful social entrepreneurs, while also supporting VET providers in adapting their training to rural contexts. Through a combination of online social entrepreneurship modules, upskilling for VET professionals, and business incubation projects, the project will bridge the gap in business development support that is often lacking in rural areas.

SUSTAINABLE STEPS

Empowering Young People and Youth Workers to Engage in Sustainable Practices through Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability

The Sustainable Steps project aims to adopt a three-pronged holist approach to promoting sustainability in youth work settings in each partner country. To achieve this, we will address the topics of environmental, social, and economic sustainability, with a focus on green youth initiatives in each partner country. We will promote this approach in youth centres in our regions, and engage diverse young people in inclusive sustainable practices, to build their skills for a greener future.

I-VOTED

The I-VOTED project aims to enhance youth engagement in EU democratic life by developing learning tools and training activities that empower young people to become active citizens. With 55% of young people reporting limited understanding of the EU (Eurobarometer 2021), there is a pressing need to address this gap in civic knowledge and participation. I-VOTED will tackle this challenge by creating a comprehensive Guidebook featuring interactive exercises, role plays, and simulations to help youth educators train young people on the roles of EU institutions and civic engagement.

CIRC4INC

Learning circle for inclusion through Digital Tools

The Circ4Inc project aims to promote the social inclusion of people over 65 and those who are digitally illiterate by fostering learning circles that encourage the conscious use of the Internet and social networks. By equipping trainers and educators with innovative methodologies, the project will support the development of inclusive digital learning environments and create best practice guidelines to aid adult education providers.

BLUE HORIZONS

Youth Leadership for Marine, Environmental and Personal Well-being

The Blue Horizons project aims to educate young people about ocean conservation while promoting blue therapy as a means of enhancing well-being. Through a combination of awareness-raising activities, community engagement, and advocacy, the project will inspire young people to take an active role in protecting marine environments.

DIGITAL HARMONY

Bridging Generations for Well-being in
Education

The Digital Harmony project aims to enhance digital well-being within school communities by addressing key challenges such as digital literacy, online safety, and balanced technology use. Recognising that these issues affect multiple generations, the project takes an intergenerational approach, engaging grandparents and senior adults in after-school projects and teachers and older adults in capacity-building workshops to foster mutual learning and support.project aims to address the pressing need to enhance digital well-being within school communities, especially in the context of today's rapidly evolving digital landscape.
